The piece is made using the raku pit firing method
Its shade covered with Kevin O'Brien willow fabric in the mango color
After darkening the cracks she covers the surface with encaustic wax (beeswax and dry pigment ) which makes a smooth blended surface
Etherial II A97029 Materials: IronAn original acrylic painting on wooden panel, many layers of acrylic paint and paper collage were used to create this colorful and dynamic composition. The paint was applied with brushes, palette knives, and brayers, and a high gloss finish protects the surface. The edges are painted black and it's wired to hang.
