Viking zwaard Dybek damascus, semi-scherp Sallets Latin for peaceThis Viking sword is a replica of an 11th century sword found in a swamp near Dybek in Sweden, the original is on display at the Historiska Museet in Stockholm. It is a Petersen type Z. The pommel and cross guard are richly decorated with birds, snakes and tendrils in the Winchester style and make the sword perhaps the most beautiful excavated Viking sword in Scandinavia.
