Back in 1944 the British War Office was looking for a timepiece to replace the ATP (Army Trade Pattern) watches that had been in use since 1939

often found in photos from the Falklands being worn by deckhands

remained largely unchanged into the late 50s

Some wear but largely good shape

Condition Excellent mint condition. Light signs of use and some light wear to the shoulder. Size Tagged a 34 Pit to pit 21" Shoulder to shoulder 19" Shoulder to cuff 23. 5" Collar to hem 28"
