Nepenthes rigidifolia Sarracenia this cross caused a lot

this cross caused a lot of controversy driven by the strong desire of so many collectors to get a hold of one

Both parents are extremely vigorous plants that can be grown in a wide range of conditions and we expect the same of all the seedlings

its real forte are the uppers which are funnel shaped with an iridescent striping alternating in shiny purple and lime or cream coloration

huge size and widely flared peristomes

It bears the name of the famous naturalist David Attenborough and certainly lives up to it

Nepenthes rigidifolia Sarracenia this cross caused a lotNepenthes rigidifolia is the most endangered of all Nepenthes species and is functionally extinct in the wild. It produces squat richly colored pitchers and grows best as a highland plant. The plants for sale are from Malesiana Tropicals. These plants are a random mix of 3 clones in tissue culture so there's a good chance there could be males and females in the mix. Producing horticultural seed may be the only hope to preserve this plant for future
