Celtic Band Tattoo with Scottish Design claddagh air and water as interpretedThe Scots are known to say "If it's nay Scottish, it's CRRRRAP." Well then! This traditional Highland weave is a tattoo pattern that enhances any arm. In some versions here it is shown with the background area filled in with the beautiful woad color of blue worn into battle by the Celt and Pictish warriors. The woad was a skin paint, but tattoos can now mimic it so that modern warriors can have the best of both, permanently.
