Victorian artist John Waterhouse's lovely portrait of a damsel in distress is full of drama and romance

Here a fine work of art has been translated into textile form

The original tapestry was part of the Jagaloon tapestries

Inspired by a rare series of four Beauvais tapestries of the 18th century
