Vintage 1940s French Stick and Wood Oval Basket Mosser friendlier cast iron vessel forHandwoven with a sturdy wooden rim and double bentwood handles that strengthen its construction, the generous oval form of this basket was made for everyday farm and household tasks, from gathering vegetables and eggs to carrying flowers and freshly harvested produce. The mellow color and beautifully aged weave reflect decades of use, while today it serves equally well as a centerpiece, linen basket, or display for seasonal fruits and vegetables.
