2014 has been a terrific white and rosé vintage in the Rhône

where the wine is aged for 13 months

with fresh fruity notes and that rose petal Turkish delight character that often defines the grape

notably six hectares of village-designated plots in their home commune

crunch minerality and savory acidity with an elegant soft clean finish

Hyde de Villaine Napa Valley Californio Syrah 2009 Size::6 Bottle Case 2014 has been a terrific"Allocation only, email wine@worldwine. com. au to secure allocation" The 2009 Californio Syrah exhibits floral, spicy notes in unison with black fruit accents. Delicate and precise on the palate, concentrated flavors of layered black fruit, sweet spice and minerality provide complexity. The minerality combined with freshness extends the wine for a long finish. Rewarding now, it will improve for at least another decade.
