The valley just south of Zaragoza was largely abandoned during the ructions of the 20th century, but ancient and untended vines remained behind, waiting to be rediscovered. In 2016, Fernando Mora and Mario Lopez founded Bodegas Frontonio around some of the oldest Macabeo and Garnacha vines in the valley. El Casetero are inexpensive wines purchased from a cooperative in neighboring
