These large wooden containers were once used in China to transport rice and grain from the market

They still have the original large wooden 'spokes' and hardware and today make unusual planters or side tables

Dragon Ceramic Stool h60 and this motif is repeatedThese white glazed ceramic stools are reproductions of pieces that were used for indoor and outdoor seating particularly in southern China for centuries. They are not frost resistant, but can be used outdoors during the summer months and make lovely little side tables. The main glazed decoration shows a pair of dragons, while the top is in a floral pattern, with bats and 'fu' characters to symbolise good fortune.
