Vintage Chinese Wooden Hand-Carved Scholar Figure Netsuke 2" Byoubu with exception of limited pastVintage hand carved wooden netsuke depicting a robed scholar or intellectual figure. This small 2 inch carving shows expressive detail in the flowing robes and facial features, with a rich, aged patina. Likely mid 20th century, this piece reflects traditional Chinese carving styles in miniature form. Compact and tactile, it fits naturally in the palm and displays well as part of a netsuke or small object collection. A charming and characterful piece
