Weighing just over two pounds, the Trail Vista 28 comfortably carries up to 15 pounds and some users will find it can carry up to 25 pounds, although it increasingly barrels and transfers weight to the shoulders as the weight rises above 15 pounds–making it uncomfortable to fill the pack’s capacity with heavy gear (though I’ve never carried more than 15 pounds for a dayhike, the extra capacity is nice to have, and you can also buy it in a 20-liter version)
